Once again I was first introduced to this company through my Mum (she clearly has a knack for finding these kinds of goodies). As a gift when I took my oil burner when I moved out she gave me two choices of melts; Lavender or Dragon's Blood. She told me that they're her favourite and the brand is amazing.
So whilst I was doing some shopping I saw a stall set up and that they had melts. I couldn't resist taking a look because let's face it I really am a sucker for theses sorts of things. I ended up resisting the urge to spend all of my money and kept it right on $15.
Normally you would think $15 can't get much. Especially when spending it on candles and melts, right?
Any other time I would agree with that except when it comes to Scents of Rosedale...
I purchased three x 6 packs in three different scents. Maybe it's just me but that seems like great value for money.
Here are the scents that I picked up:
Dragon's Blood.
Dragon's Blood is a scent that's quickly grown on me after I smelt some incense of the same smell.
Dragon's Blood scents are typically infused with Cedarwood, Orange and Patchouli essential oils, giving it both a woody but also sweet aroma. This scent is the strongest out of the three that I picked up and lasts hours around the house (yum!).
Sweet Lemongrass.
Okay, so the smell of this one is pretty self explanatory but it's my favourite one. I love anything to do with Lemongrass (except maybe in tea, ugh!) so of course I was bound to pick up one of these babies.
Sexy as Sin.
This one was a bit of an impulse buy and I'll admit I can't quite put my finger on what oil scents are in it but it drew me in, that's for sure.
All in all I think these melts are a fantastic idea. Most candle, oil, melt products today are quite pricey and are things that have to be replaced quite often if you use them as much as you want to. They're great gifts for your friends, family or even yourself. I've been looking for a company that makes these kinds of products after not being able to locate the one that made some candles I loved a few years ago and I think it's safe to say that I'll be sticking to this brand of scents from now on.
