Scentsy Dupes?! Scents of Rosedale Wax Melts

Once again I was first introduced to this company through my Mum (she clearly has a knack for finding these kinds of goodies). As a gift when I took my oil burner when I moved out she gave me two choices of melts; Lavender or Dragon's Blood. She told me that they're her favourite and the brand is amazing.
So whilst I was doing some shopping I saw a stall set up and that they had melts. I couldn't resist taking a look because let's face it I really am a sucker for theses sorts of things. I ended up resisting the urge to spend all of my money and kept it right on $15.

Normally you would think $15 can't get much. Especially when spending it on candles and melts, right?

Any other time I would agree with that except when it comes to Scents of Rosedale...
I purchased three x 6 packs in three different scents. Maybe it's just me but that seems like great value for money.

Here are the scents that I picked up:

Dragon's Blood.
Dragon's Blood is a scent that's quickly grown on me after I smelt some incense of the same smell.
Dragon's Blood scents are typically infused with Cedarwood, Orange and Patchouli essential oils, giving it both a woody but also sweet aroma. This scent is the strongest out of the three that I picked up and lasts hours around the house (yum!).

Sweet Lemongrass.
Okay, so the smell of this one is pretty self explanatory but it's my favourite one. I love anything to do with Lemongrass (except maybe in tea, ugh!) so of course I was bound to pick up one of these babies.

Sexy as Sin.
This one was a bit of an impulse buy and I'll admit I can't quite put my finger on what oil scents are in it but it drew me in, that's for sure.

All in all I think these melts are a fantastic idea. Most candle, oil, melt products today are quite pricey and are things that have to be replaced quite often if you use them as much as you want to. They're great gifts for your friends, family or even yourself. I've been looking for a company that makes these kinds of products after not being able to locate the one that made some candles I loved a few years ago and I think it's safe to say that I'll be sticking to this brand of scents from now on.

Erstwilder - Pugs, Pugs, Pugs!

Every time I see my mother she tells me she has a present for me and lately they've been involving more and more pugs! She's clearly feeding my addiction and love for not only animals but, more specifically, pugs. She purchased this broach for me while in the Town & Country Gallery in Yarragon. The brand is named Erstwilder and until I received this present I'd never heard of them before but afterwards I decided to check them out!

Inside the box is a brief description of how each piece is crafted and how to care for the accessories to keep them in their best possible condition. Because each item is crafted and assembled by hand each piece is therefore individual, regardless of whether two are the same design or not. I appreciate anything that is handcrafted and I love things even more when they are because of the fact that no two are exactly the same. This brand is designed and crafted in Melbourne, Australia and is sold overseas in boutiques throughout the U.S, U.K, New Zealand and Japan.

As mentioned the piece I have is a broach. Not only can I wear it as one but I can also attach it to hair accessories and create a statement clip too. The pin is securely screwed into the ceramic and glass and is so sturdy. There's nothing worse than buying a nice broach and having a wobbling pin then trying to get it to sit right!

How amazing do the different textures and details look together?! I love the amount of detail in it, especially in the eyes!

After checking out their website and their recent collections available for purchase, I know I'm going to be getting more! They have some Disney themed jewellery currently (The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland). As well as plenty of French Bulldogs and Pugs wearing top hats or monocles and I am a sucker for that. So far there's not one thing I don't like about this brand and I couldn't be happier with this broach. Thanks Mum!

I know a lot of my friends, their family and also mine would love these sorts of designs so below I will leave a list of online stockists and a link to their page with boutiques in Australia that stock them too.
